Your safety and the security of your personal information are among our highest priorities.
Persometrics saliva test kits use high-quality saliva collection devices manufactured by Sarstedt (Germany). These collection systems are widely used in scientific research and clinical practice for the analysis of hormones such as cortisol and testosterone, including studies of stress, burnout and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They have been safely used by thousands of research participants and patients worldwide.
Your samples are analysed exclusively by Swiss medical laboratories operating under strict quality management systems and recognised compliance standards. These laboratories comply with Swiss requirements governing medical laboratories, helping to ensure that your samples are handled securely, professionally and confidentially.
Protecting your privacy is equally important. Persometrics applies procedures designed to comply with Swiss data protection requirements. We retain identifiable personal information only for as long as it is required for the provision of our services and in accordance with applicable legal and operational requirements.
Persometrics may process several types of data in connection with its services, including personal information, questionnaire responses and, depending on the test selected, biomarker data obtained through laboratory analysis.
Questionnaire responses may include information relating to areas such as stress, wellbeing, lifestyle and other aspects relevant to the service you have chosen. We therefore treat questionnaire data with the same care and confidentiality as other sensitive information processed through Persometrics.
Where laboratory testing is included, your samples and laboratory data are handled separately from unnecessary identifying information wherever practicable. Persometrics uses anonymous or coded identifiers within its testing and reporting processes to limit the amount of personal information associated with samples and results.
Once laboratory analysis has been completed, saliva samples are destroyed in accordance with the procedures of the analysing laboratory. Your questionnaire data, laboratory results and other information are handled according to Persometrics' data protection procedures and applicable confidentiality requirements.
Access to personal and health-related information is restricted to what is necessary for the operation of the service. Persometrics does not sell your personal, questionnaire or biomarker data for marketing purposes.
